Arugula & Crickets Pesto

No party is complete without dips! And what is a salad without the right dressing? This tasty recipe will help you with both!


  • 2 cups of packed arugula leaves
  • 1/2 cup of shelled walnuts
  • 1 Tbsp Camola Cricket Powder
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove peeled, green shoot removed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
In a food processor, chop the garlic clove and the walnuts until finely ground. Scrape down and add the Cricket Powder. Add the arugula and the salt. Pulse until finely chopped. Add the EVO a little bit at a time while still pulsing in the food processor.
When the mixture is smooth, remove from the food processor. In a bowl, work the Parmesan cheese in the mixture.

Add the pesto to your salads, steamed veggies, or serve as a dip with some Crick Chips!
